Mobile Modular sourcing

Modular Building Applications by Requirement

The use case determines occupancy, envelope, service and installation questions before product selection.

Modular Building Applications by Requirement

01 / applications

Four common sourcing briefs

ED

Education

Classroom modules need usable circulation, acoustic control, daylight and accessible entry details. A site plan should address foundation, fire exits and service tie ins.

SO

Site offices

Contractor offices often prioritize deployment sequence, relocatability and clear MEP interfaces. Compare interior completion level and transport dimensions.

WF

Workforce facilities

Accommodation and support buildings need occupancy, hygiene, hot water and climate assumptions documented. Local fire and ventilation requirements need professional review.

HC

Healthcare support

Temporary support spaces may have stringent room, cleaning and service needs. The buyer's qualified team defines clinical and approval requirements.

These applications are starting points for a request, not preapproved products. We match suppliers to the documented use, destination and schedule, then request evidence against the actual project.

02 / technical comparison

Criteria that change across applications

DecisionWhy it mattersEvidence to request
Structural load basisWind, snow and seismic demands change with location and building form.Project criteria, calculations and foundation reactions.
Envelope assemblyU-value, thermal bridges and panel core affect comfort and performance.Assembly details and relevant test reports.
Service interfacesElectrical, water and HVAC scope affects commissioning.Interface schedule and marked drawings.
Transport and liftingRoutes and crane capacity constrain module size.Packing dimensions, masses and lifting details.

A CFS or LGS panelized structure and a volumetric steel module can solve the same space requirement through different delivery methods. The evaluation should include site labor, weather exposure, packing density and future relocation expectations.

Panel insulation choices also need a complete system view. EPS, PIR and mineral wool vary in cost, thermal behavior and fire strategy. A core label alone cannot establish whole wall performance, especially around joints, openings and service penetrations.

Match the system to the application

Tell us the use, occupancy, climate and timeline. We will coordinate supplier responses against that brief.
